A message from Our Founder

At some point in our lives, we will almost certainly experience the need to find and secure home care, either for ourselves or our loved ones. This happened to me recently when the declining health of my elderly parents meant that they were no longer able to stay safe and happy in their own home without some help and support from caregivers.

As those who have gone through a similar experience will know, finding, booking, scheduling, and paying for home care services is a stressful and difficult process, made worse by heightened emotions and varying needs. Recognising that my own experience was far from unique, and experiencing first-hand the gaps and shortcomings of the current home care sector, prompted me to look for a better solution.

And this is where Carer Hub was conceived. Using technology to create a safe and secure online environment where care workers can promote their services, skills, and availability, and care organisers can advertise their needs, find pre-screened suitable workers, and manage scheduling and payments, became the foundation of our idea.

Carer Hub is the solution I wished for when seeking care for my parents, and I hope it will also be the answer for anyone who finds themselves in the same or a similar situation as I was a few years ago.
